Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of three Spanish glazed porcelain figurines produced by manufacturers in Valencia, Spain. The group features a Lladro figurine titled Try This One, model number 5361, depicting a girl wearing a blue sun hat and holding a small floral sprig. Also included is a NAO figurine dated 1987, model number 1285, featuring a boy lying prone and reading from a book with Spanish text referencing Caperucita Roja to a small skunk. The third piece is a NADAL figurine, model number 2728, depicting a girl reclining beside a large basket of delicate multi-colored flowers. Each piece is finished in a characteristic high-gloss glaze with a palette of soft pastel tones and features hand-applied floral elements. The underside of the NAO piece bears the manufacturer backstamp, the 1987 date, and the impressed model number 1285. The NADAL piece includes the manufacturer backstamp and the impressed model number 2728.
