Another Great Auction 12th February
A Coalport plywood figurine titled Rose Blossom, part of the Celebration of the Seasons collection. This piece was sculpted by Jack Glynn for Compton and Woodhouse in 1997. The figure depicts a woman in a Victorian-style tiered and ruffled gown with a wide-brimmed hat decorated with roses, holding a basket of blossoms. The base is marked with the manufacturer stamp, the title, the collection name, and the sculptor signature. It is a hand-numbered limited edition, identified as number 980 of 7,500.
