A collection of Midwinter Stylecraft ceramic tableware in the Riverside pattern designed by John Russell. The group includes teacups, saucers, side plates, a dinner plate, a creamer, and an open sugar bowl. The hollowware features a solid moss green glazed exterior with a white interior, while the white-ground plates and saucers are decorated with detailed transfer-printed botanical motifs of leaves, catkins, and seed heads in earthy green and brown tones. The pieces exhibit the organic, stylized shapes characteristic of 1950s British design.
