Another Great Auction 12th February
A framed print after Sir John Everett Millais titled Bubbles. The image depicts a young boy with golden curls wearing a green velvet suit, looking at a floating soap bubble. This composition is historically associated with Pears Soap advertising. The print is housed in an ornate Victorian-style gilded frame featuring foliate and scrollwork borders. The work is protected behind glass. A small inventory sticker numbered 1750 is present on the lower-left corner of the glass.
