Another Great Auction 12th February
A set of six ceramic advertising tiles produced by Pilkington, featuring various iconic commercial brands. The collection includes designs for Jones’ Sewing Machines, Swan Ink by Mabie Todd & Co. Ltd., Bisto, Huntley & Palmers Ginger Nuts, Brasso Metal Polish, and Pears’ Soap. Each tile is housed in a square wooden frame with finishes ranging from natural wood to stained and painted surfaces. The prints display colorful graphic designs with associated text, including establishment dates such as Est 1859 and Est 1905.
