Another Great Auction 12th February
A collection of vintage hardcover books from The Works of Charles Dickens, published circa 1933. Each volume is uniformly bound in blue cloth with decorative gilt-stamped lettering and embossed scrollwork on the spines. The spines prominently display the author name and various titles, including The Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, Our Mutual Friend, Barnaby Rudge, The Old Curiosity Shop, Sketches by Boz, and American Notes. The volumes feature blind-stamped decorative borders on the front covers and gilt-tooled accents at the head and tail of the spines.
