Another Great Auction 12th February
This lot features a collection of decorative storage, novelty matches, and ephemera. Included is a woven seagrass belly basket with two handles, decorated with black embroidered eyelashes and a heart motif. The collection contains two large rectangular matchboxes, including The Penguins Luxury Matches by The Luxury Matchbox Company and a box with elephant illustrations. Several cylindrical novelty match containers are included, featuring nutcracker and princess designs. The paper goods consist of an assortment of greeting cards and postcards, many in original plastic sleeves, with motifs such as a vintage-style Easter duck, a cat on a star, and floral patterns.
