A Brentleigh Ware ceramic vase featuring the Salcombe pattern. The vessel is constructed with an ovoid body tapering to a flared rim. The exterior is finished in a matte sage-green ground decorated with a hand-painted floral design. This motif consists of a large yellow flower with a dark center, accompanied by orange-toned berries and gray foliage. The underside of the base is impressed with the marks MADE IN ENGLAND, SALCOMBE, and BRENTLEIGH WARE, and includes a handwritten numeric marking in black ink, 23.
