An Adams style cast iron fireplace grate of Neoclassical design. The piece features an arched fireback decorated with a raised relief depicting a classical flaming urn flanked by ribboned swags. The basket is constructed with a picket-style front and side rail, supported by four square feet. The front corner posts are designed to accommodate turned finials.
