Another Great Auction 12th February
A group of vintage radio components primarily manufactured by Brookes Crystals Ltd of London. The collection includes Admiralty Pattern W 3779 quartz crystals (500 kc/s) in specialized chrome-finished holders. Also included is a box of 50-amp terminal clips, identified as Part No. LV6/MT4 47267. The terminal clips are wrapped in green protective paper and coated in a brown anti-corrosive grease. The items are housed in their original cardboard packaging, which bears labels indicating mid-20th-century British maritime or military provenance. One label identifies the maker as Whitaker Cutler and indicates a packaging date of October 1952. Some boxes include the cautionary text, Not to be opened until required for use.
