A Royal Crown Derby English bone china octagonal plate decorated in the Old Imari pattern, number 1128. The design consists of a complex arrangement of geometric and floral motifs executed in cobalt blue and iron-red with heavy gold gilding on a white ground. The central octagonal medallion features a stylized floral star, surrounded by radiating panels containing floral sprays and diaper patterns. The underside is marked with a red printed Royal Crown Derby maker mark, the pattern number 1128, and the Roman numeral date code LII, indicating a manufacture year of 1989.
