Another Great Auction 19th February
A brass and steel miners safety lamp produced by The Wolf Safety Lamp Co. (Wm. Maurice) Ltd. in Sheffield. The lamp is constructed with a central glass chimney secured by a brass cage and a steel upper bonnet. The brass collar is stamped with the manufacturer name and model No. 7 R.M.B.S. The glass chimney features etched markings including the word British and MFP within a hexagonal border, alongside numerical stamps 58 1/4 and 59 1/2. The lamp is topped with a metal suspension ring and hook.
