This lot consists of a Chinese brass tea caddy of hexagonal form. The vessel is constructed from a brass alloy and features a cylindrical push-fit lid. Each of the six facets is decorated with fine-line engraved panels depicting traditional motifs, including figures in landscape settings, birds, and foliage. The top of the lid is engraved with a stylized symbol, identified as a variation of the Chinese character for longevity (Shou).
