Another Great Auction 19th February
A collection of three vintage brass decorative and functional items. The lot includes a novelty desk bell designed in the form of a high-wheeler or penny-farthing bicycle, mounted on a rectangular plinth base with a gadrooned border. Also included is a square three-legged trivet featuring an openwork casting of the British Royal Coat of Arms, displaying the mottoes HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE and DIEU ET MON DROIT. The third item is a circular trivet with a geometric openwork pattern and copper-tipped feet. All items are constructed from cast brass.
Square trivet measures approximately 4.5 inches wide.
Circular trivet measures approximately 5 inches in diameter.
