A silver plated footed basket of oval form featuring a pierced scrolling floral rim and a gadrooned swing handle. The interior of the bowl is decorated with high-relief repousse work depicting a central arrangement of fruit, including a pineapple, grapes, and various orchard fruits amidst scrolling foliage. The center of the bowl features a cross-hatched medallion. The piece is elevated on a circular tiered pedestal foot with fluted and gadrooned detailing.
