Porsgrund porcelain wedding toasting beaker, also referred to as a staup. The vessel features a flared rim and base joined by a solid terracotta-colored cylindrical body. The upper white band displays black calligraphic Norwegian script including the phrase for Dig staar and the date 1730 followed by the initials T.T.D:, all framed by gold-tone bands. The flared base is decorated with a hand-painted foliate motif in green, orange, and black tones. The underside is marked with a green anchor logo accompanied by PORSGRUND NORGE and P P, along with a blue underglaze mark.
