Another Great Auction 19th February
A mid-century modern art glass centerpiece bowl designed by Josef Hospodka for Chribska Glassworks, Czechoslovakia. The piece features a thick-walled, organic form with a multi-lobed, ruffled rim, characteristic of the 1960s Bohemian glass tradition. The bowl is executed using the sommerso technique, displaying a color gradient that transitions from a translucent rose-pink at the perimeter to a rich amber-yellow interior, all encased within a heavy clear glass body and base. The underside is polished and lacks a maker mark, which is typical for these productions.
Diameter: 8 inches
