Another Great Auction 19th February
An assortment of mid-20th-century commemorative items, primarily focusing on British cinema clubs and regional organizations. The collection includes a Manchester and West Lancs Cinema Exhibitors Association Summer Conference Blackpool 1939 enameled badge featuring a depiction of the Blackpool Tower. Also present is a Star Cinemas Young Citizens Club Saturday Matinee enameled pin with a central star motif and a League of Ovaltineys circular pin. A rectangular silver-toned metal plaque is engraved with a dedication from the Windsor Cinema Young Citizens Matinee Club to the people of Balby, dated February 21, 1956. Additional items include an ornate brass-toned rectangular buckle or badge with a fouled anchor motif and an oval silver-toned badge featuring a central winged emblem over a radiating background with stylized letters.
