An antique Edwardian mahogany folding cake stand of three-tier construction. The stand features three hexagonal shelves, each designed with a circular recessed center. The frame utilizes a folding mechanism that allows the shelves to collapse flat within the uprights for compact storage. The piece is finished with a shaped decorative handle at the top and splayed, curved legs at the base.
