A late 19th-century Victorian nursing chair accompanied by a low stool. The chair features a dark-stained wood frame with a button-tufted backrest upholstered in mustard-colored fabric. The upholstery is finished with a decorative braid trim. The chair is supported by turned front legs on casters and swept rear legs. The accompanying stool consists of a dark-toned wood frame with a woven rush seat and square-section legs joined by stretchers.
