Another Great Auction 19th February
A collection of Bell’s Old Scotch Whisky ceramic commemorative decanters, primarily dating from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. The group features various bell-shaped porcelain decanters produced by Wade Ceramics. Included are Christmas editions ranging from 1988 through 1994, the Great Scottish Inventors series depicting James Watt, Alexander Fleming, and John Logie Baird, and royal commemoratives marking the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the birth of Princess Eugenie, and the birth of Prince William. The items display a variety of glaze colors including white, deep green, royal blue, and burgundy, accented with gold-tone metallic bands and detailed transfers of portraits, coats of arms, or historical scenes. Several decanters are accompanied by their original presentation boxes or decorative metal tins.
