A Bronte Porcelain fine bone china candle extinguisher from The Clowder of Cats collection, titled Japanese Bobtail. The hand-painted figurine depicts an anthropomorphic calico cat in a traditional light blue kimono decorated with a crane, floral motifs, and gilt accents, holding a folding fan. This item is a limited edition, identified by the accompanying hand-signed certificate of authenticity as number 166 of 250 produced by Bronte Porcelain Limited in England. The piece is presented in its original red leatherette-style box with gold-stamped lettering and includes supplementary product information. The construction is of English fine bone china with hand-applied enamel and gilt decoration.
