Another Great Auction 19th February
A Royal Doulton glazed ceramic figurine titled The Shepherd, model number HN 1975. The piece depicts an elderly male figure wearing a long brown coat, a red neckerchief, and a black cap. He is holding a shepherd’s crook with a white lamb positioned at his side. The figure stands on a dark, textured base. The underside bears the Royal Doulton lion and crown maker’s mark, MADE IN ENGLAND, the title The Shepherd, model number HN 1975, registration number 842485, and a copyright date of 1945 for Doulton & Co Limited. There is also a small hand-painted mark CH.
