Another Great Auction 19th February
A Royal Doulton porcelain figurine titled Falstaff, model number HN 3236. This hand-made and hand-decorated piece was designed by Charles J. Noke and depicts the Shakespearean character in a standing pose. The figure is dressed in a red tunic, a green cloak, and gray trousers, featuring a gray beard and an integral multicolored base. The underside is marked with the official Royal Doulton green backstamp, which includes the model number, character name, designer signature, and a copyright date of 1949. The stamp also specifies that the item was made in England.
