Another Great Auction 19th February
A set of Art Deco Bimini glass barware, attributed to the Bimini Werkstatte founded by Fritz Lampl in Vienna. The collection is crafted from hand-blown emerald green and clear glass. The pieces feature clear glass figural elements in the form of mermaids, which serve as the stems for the glasses and as an internal decorative element within the body of the decanter. The set comprises a decanter with a matching green glass stopper and several stemmed glasses with translucent green bowls and circular bases. This Bimini Mermaid design is characteristic of Austrian lampworked glass production from the 1920s and 1930s. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the items.
