Another Great Auction 19th February
Two hand-blown art glass pieces attributed to Murano, Italy. The first item is a vase of ovoid form with a flared rim and twin applied clear glass handles. The body is composed of opaque cream-colored glass decorated with abstract swirls of blue and amber. The second item is a handkerchief-style bowl featuring a deeply ruffled rim. The bowl displays a mottled pattern of green, turquoise, and brown spots over a light-colored ground. The underside of the bowl exhibits a rough pontil mark, indicating hand-formed manufacture.
