A 1981 Royal Mint silver proof commemorative coin issued to mark the marriage of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. The obverse features conjoined profile portraits of the couple, encircled by the inscription H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER 1981. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and presented in its original Royal Mint dark blue hinged display case. The case features a cream silk-lined lid bearing the Royal Mint crest. The lot includes the original commemorative card from the Royal Mint.
