A 1998 Guernsey silver proof one-pound coin issued to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. The reverse features a design depicting a formation of three aircraft alongside the RAF crest. Inscriptions include 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE and the denomination ONE POUND. The coin is struck in silver with a proof finish. It is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and is accompanied by the original printed Certificate of Authenticity identifying the item as a 1998 Guernsey SILVER PROOF ONE POUND.
