A Guernsey one pound silver proof coin issued to commemorate the centenary of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The reverse features a portrait of the Queen Mother flanked by floral motifs, inscribed HM THE QUEEN MOTHER CENTENARY with the dates 1900 and 2000 and the numeral 100. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and is accompanied by an official Royal Mint specification sheet signed by R de L Holmes, Deputy Master of the Royal Mint. The documentation states the coin is struck in .925 sterling silver with an edition limit of 50,000.
