A collection of four pieces of black beaded jewelry, comprising three necklaces and one circular openwork brooch. The group includes a multi-strand necklace featuring small, uniformly faceted black glass beads and a single-strand necklace with larger, graduated faceted beads linked by gold-tone metal wire. A third necklace of faceted black glass beads is included in the set. The circular brooch is constructed from dark-toned metal in an intricate radial design, set with faceted black stones and cabochons. These pieces reflect the Victorian mourning aesthetic and utilize materials such as faceted black glass, commonly known as French jet. No maker’s marks are present on any of the items.
