A 1920s 5.2g 9ct gold prize medal or watch fob of circular form, featuring an ornate scrolled border and a central heraldic shield in black, white, and red enamel. The shield is set against a textured gold background and displays various gold-toned symbols. The reverse is engraved B.A.F.U. S.S. LGUE. Winners. 1920-21. and bears the additional inscription DANCE & DUERDEN MORLEY along the lower-left edge. The piece is stamped with full English hallmarks for 9ct gold, including the .375 fineness mark, the Birmingham assay anchor, the date letter v for 1920, and the maker mark V&S for Vaughton & Sons. The medal is equipped with a suspension ring.
