A Victorian-style brooch featuring a central rectangular step-cut amethyst bezel-set in a yellow metal frame. The gemstone is flanked by two foliate motifs accented with seed pearls, with a curved ribbon element to one side. The reverse is fitted with a pin-back mechanism, a simple clasp, and an indistinct hallmark.
