Another Great Auction 26th February
Two commemorative coins housed in protective plastic capsules. The first is a 1999 bi-metallic five-pound coin from the Bailiwick of Guernsey, featuring a silver-colored outer ring and a gold-colored inner core. The reverse commemorates the Year 2000 Millennium with an image of a hand holding a globe, while the obverse displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The second is a 2006 Gibraltar one crown coin, marked 80 Glorious Years to commemorate the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features a profile portrait of the Queen, and the reverse shows a composite design of four royal portraits. Both coins exhibit a bright finish.
