Another Great Auction 26th February
A trio of British commemorative five-pound coins struck in silver-colored cupro-nickel. The group includes a 1999-2000 Millennium issue featuring a map of the British Isles and a clock face on the reverse, inscribed ANNO DOMINI. The collection also contains a 2003 Coronation Jubilee issue with a stylized reverse reading GOD SAVE THE QUEEN and a London 2012 Olympic Games commemorative coin depicting the city skyline and athletic figures. The obverses display different portrait effigies of Queen Elizabeth II with the Latin inscription D G REG F D. One coin is housed in a circular plastic protective capsule.
