Another Great Auction 26th February
A collection of three commemorative coins comprising two Guernsey five-pound coins and one United Kingdom two-pound coin. The two 2012 Guernsey coins are from the Lifetime of Service collection, featuring silver-toned fields with gilded obverse portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and reverses displaying the EIIR cypher within a floral wreath. The 1995 United Kingdom two-pound coin commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II, featuring a dove of peace on the reverse and the royal portrait on the obverse. This coin is struck in a gold-colored metal and is presented in a red card insert labeled Britain. All items are housed in clear protective acrylic capsules.
