Another Great Auction 26th February
A collection of United Kingdom 50 pence coins issued to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic Games. Each coin is struck in a silver-colored metal with a proof-like finish. The obverse of each coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and is dated 2011. The reverse designs represent various Olympic sports, including motifs for athletics, badminton, and the football offside rule. The coins are individually housed in clear plastic protective capsules and arranged within blue velvet-lined trays. The assembly is contained in a blue presentation case with a white silk-like interior lining bearing the Westminster brand name and logo.
