A collection of Australian five-dollar commemorative coins issued for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Each coin is struck in a gold-toned bronze alloy with a frosted uncirculated finish. The obverse of each coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, dated 2000, with the inscription Australia. The reverse designs depict various Olympic sporting disciplines, including judo, soccer, and cycling, among others. The coins are housed in individual clear protective acrylic capsules and presented within blue velvet-lined display trays. The collection is accompanied by several individual certificates of authenticity providing technical specifications for each sport-themed coin.
