This 19th-century French mantel clock features an ebonized wooden case decorated with double brass inlaid stringing and a decorative cast brass foliate handle on the side. The white enamel dial is signed LEROY A PARIS and displays black Roman numerals and two winding apertures. The internal mechanical brass movement is also stamped LEROY A PARIS and numbered G 29, and it includes a silver-tone strike bell.
