A Silverware Manufacturing sterling silver commemorative armada dish, hallmarked for London, 1972, with the maker mark SM. The center features a medallion with a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in relief. The reverse is engraved QUEEN ELIZABETH II ROYAL LINEAGE No 740 LIMITED EDITION OF 1500, marking the Queen’s Silver Wedding anniversary. The dish is housed in its original red leatherette-covered presentation case, which is embossed in gilt with the Royal Coat of Arms and the title QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER WEDDING LIMITED EDITION. The set includes an illustrative booklet titled Britain’s Kings & Queens.
