Another Great Auction 26th February
A set of dining side chairs constructed from dark-stained oak. Each chair features an open backrest with a grid-patterned splat, a design characteristic of the Aesthetic Movement and Eastlake era. The seats are upholstered in brown leather or faux-leather. The chairs are supported by turned front legs on square block feet, joined by an H-stretcher for structural stability. The construction and style are consistent with English furniture from the late 19th to early 20th century.
