An adjustable upholstered footstool, commonly known as a gout stool, featuring a wooden frame with four turned bun feet. The stool is upholstered in a textured floral patterned fabric with a palette of cream, ochre, and muted pink. The upholstery is secured with decorative brass-toned metal nailhead trim along the base of the cushion. The design consists of two sections: a fixed, curved bolster end and a primary rectangular section. The primary section is hinged, allowing for multiple reclining angles via a notched wooden support mechanism housed within the frame. The wooden components exhibit a medium-toned finish.
