A Corgi limited edition cold-cast resin model set of the LNER Class A1 Flying Scotsman locomotive and tender, produced at a 1:50 scale. The locomotive is finished in apple green and black LNER livery, featuring the number 4472 on the cab and a green celebratory banner on the boiler side reading The Flying Scotsman No.4472 Built in Doncaster England in 1923. The tender is marked with the L N E R initials in gold-tone lettering. This set is part of a limited edition series, identified by model number CC99902. The models are static, non-motorized display pieces. The set is housed in its original packaging, including a red base box, a protective polystyrene insert, and a green outer sleeve with Corgi branding and a photographic illustration.
Condition report:
The models appear to be in good, well-preserved condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the cold-cast resin. The paintwork remains vibrant. The original packaging shows minor shelf wear to the outer sleeve but remains structurally sound.
