A group of Coalport fine bone china commemorative cricket plates produced in 1985 to celebrate the career of Geoffrey Boycott. The plates feature central portraits of the cricketer surrounded by radial arrangements of cricket bats and balls, each printed with statistical details of his one hundred centuries for Yorkshire between 1963 and 1985. The designs include variations in color, with examples in blue and white as well as polychrome palettes. The collection includes a blue presentation box with gold-tone Coalport branding and a matching certificate of authenticity. The certificate indicates the set is part of a limited edition of 1,500, with one specific plate numbered 846.
