Another Great Auction 26th February
A collection of flatware and table service items comprising several cased sets and loose pieces. The group includes a cased set of silver-plate spoons with shell-shaped bowls and a matching large serving spoon. A second boxed set features a large silver-plate serving spoon and smaller gold-tone spoons. A set of dinner knives with cream-colored synthetic handles is housed in a box marked for Viners of Sheffield. The collection also contains loose items such as an embossed berry spoon with fruit decoration, various tea spoons, and knives with synthetic handles. Completing the lot is a group of metal condiment shakers and a lidded mustard pot, each designed with openwork frames and cobalt blue glass liners. Materials include silver-plate (EPNS), stainless steel, and early plastics. Visible markings include Viners of Sheffield and EPNS.
