This English country Windsor armchair is constructed from yew wood with a light honey-toned finish. The design features a sack-back with a double-bowed frame and a central horizontal splat. The splat is decorated with three pierced wheel motifs positioned between slender vertical spindles. The chair includes a shaped saddle seat and curved armrests terminating in scroll details, supported by turned spindles. The base is composed of turned legs joined by a turned H-stretcher.
