A pair of framed reproduction art prints commemorating the 1909 Doncaster aviation races, England’s first such event. These modern reproductions were printed and distributed by Star Editions Ltd, featuring item references RAIL762 and RAIL763. One poster depicts a monoplane in flight with the text G.N.R. England’s First Aviation Races at Doncaster. The second poster lists participating aviators such as Cody, Farman, and Sommer against the backdrop of an early aircraft and the Doncaster racecourse. The prints are produced on paper with an antiqued finish and are housed under glass in matching silver-toned decorative frames.
