A pair of Robert Welch Traditional pattern cast iron trivets. Each piece is constructed in an oval form with a Victorian-style openwork design featuring scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf motifs. The trivets are finished in a dark green paint and are supported by short, integral feet. The decorative border consists of a repetitive leaf pattern. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the items.
