Another Great Auction 26th February
This 16 x 12” commemorative wall plaque from the QVC Scoreboard Star Trek collection honors Commander William Riker from the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. The piece features a color photograph of actor Jonathan Frakes in character, bearing a signature in black ink. The photograph is mounted under a clear acrylic sheet with brass-tone fasteners onto a black marble-effect wood-composite base. To the right of the image are two gold-toned metal plates: the upper displays the series logo, and the lower provides character details, a schematic of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, and a limited edition number of 1723/2500. A copyright sticker on the reverse dates the item to 1994 by Paramount Pictures.
