Another Great Auction 26th February
A pair of limited edition carborundum etchings by artist Roy Tonkin, titled Les Amants I and Les Amants IV. The compositions feature stylized figures with classical and celestial motifs, utilizing a mixed-media approach that includes rich pigments, embossed textures, and metallic gold and silver leaf accents. Each work is executed on heavy, textured paper. Les Amants I is numbered 10/245 and Les Amants IV is numbered 24/245 in pencil to the lower left margin. Both pieces are hand signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right margin. The works are housed in matching gold-toned frames with white matting under glass.
