Another Great Auction 26th February
This lot consists of three paintings. The largest 28 X 33 inch piece is a framed landscape painting depicting a bustling European cityscape with architectural landmarks and figures, presented in a dark wood-finish frame with a light-colored inner liner. The remaining two items are a pair of unframed oil on canvas portraits dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. One portrait depicts a male subject in a formal suit holding a card, while the other depicts a female subject in a dark dress with a lace collar holding yellow roses. The canvases are mounted on aged wooden stretcher bars with darkened fabric and indistinct markings on the reverse.
